If you let the govenrment decide who gets what, I contend that the current
owners of the large aggregates of capital will have even more of it.  These
"owners of large aggregates of capital" have already figured this out.
They know where the money is (seemingly bottomless government
coffers...shall we talk publicly financed sports stadiums?).  That's why
there are lobbyists.  That's why there's so much pork in government
spending.  That's why there are supposed to be limits to campaign
contributions.  Like the bankrobber said when asked why he robs
banks...."because that's where the money is".

By the way, what does everybody think of the flu vaccine shortage and our
first taste of socialized "govenment controlled" supply?  Do you fit the
"profile" that someone has determined you must fit to qualify for a dose?
