Send some mail, and run:-
run sendmail.pub.sendmail;info="-bp"  
A few times until it shows:-

/var/spool/mqueue is empty
Total requests: 0

At least then you'll know it's been passed on.

Gosh, I wouldn't know what the receiving log is named or where to find =
it.

Presuming my network administrator would allow me to read the files on =
his mail server.
