Nigel,
  The content at Sambaix.com hadn't been updated in a while and for
the most part was irrelevant for the later versions of windows and
the Samba software.  I had asked the HP3000-L members if they
thought I should hang onto it or not and no one responded (either
which way).  So with that I let the domain registration expire.

  I believe you've already gotten the answers you need from the
previous replies, but I still have the site backed up on a CD and
can stick it back out on the server (under a different domain of
course :) if you need it.
