(in my non-guru experience)
as others have noted, the way to display a help-text is to use a "help" or
"?" parameter (with a default-value), it does, however, not work with the
:help command.
To disable the :help-commands helpful feature of listing a commandfile, you
can use the "option nohelp" option.
