Not so. I've done it many times. Using two SCSI cables to 2 SCSI cards on HP3K.

Nope. You can use both simultaneously.

For normal mirrors, you can use 16 drives.

To enable best use of all 20 drives, you need to use one of the 8 luns as
Raid 1/0.
