Sadly, there will always be people who - having never contemplated their own
mortality and the (hopeful?) sense of loss that their own passing might
generate among their own loved ones - behave outrageously.
But it does seem to me to be an attitude that - in a sense - can be better
controlled by having in place strict guidelines on appropriate behaviour and
allowing people to dive such wrecks. Peer pressure - as demonstrated by
your own comments - can be a great 'wake-up' call! :-)
