Chuck, thanks for your note.  We will certainly discuss this issue at
the Interex business meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, August 17
starting at 2:50PM.  I may be a little out of breath at the start as I
will have been rushing over from moderating the HP Management
Roundtable.



I look forward to seeing you there, along with a couple thousand of our
friends.  Unfortunately, there usually are only a few dozen people in
attendance, not really enough to get a valid picture of the membership's
thoughts.



Then again, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised this year and get to
see a whole bunch of members.  That would be great.

The article referenced is not as alarming as last weeks post, however,
it does raise some
interesting possibilities and dilemmas.  A decision of this magnitude,
should IMHO, be addressed
to the membership at the annual Interex business meeting at HPW2004.
