I always call Black Box. They have interfaces for almost anything and they
know HP3000s.

Subject: RS485/ RS 232 Interface
Hi Folks,
This doesn't have much to do with MPE, but here goes. I have just =
installed solar panels on the south side of my house and there are two =
inverters that require a RS485/RS232 interface for a COM1 connection to =
one of my Windows PCs where monitoring software will execute. The in =
stallion company wants $600+ to install this interface, but I feel I can =
do it for much less. Can anyone suggest a supplier for one of these? An =
internet search shows quite a few, but there seems to be differences =
between them that leave me a little confused.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.....Eric Sand
