I believe the disk drives in the 922LX are of the HP-IB persuasion. I
seriously doubt an HP-IB disk drive has been manufactured in the last 15
years.
It may be a SCSI drive if you have a SCSI card installed on the system.
I don't really remember, it has been so very long.
Just look at the connector and describe it to us.

Speaking of 922's, how difficult is it to replace LDEV 1 with
a more recent Hard Drive? I opened it up and it sits at the
bottom of the cabinet with all the spiders.
Any gotchas?
