July 4 is our 13th wedding anniversary. We'll make fireworks of our own.
Jayna informed me that I wanted to drive up to my father's on Friday, the
2nd, visit with him on the 3rd and take her to Busch Gardens on the 4th. It
never ceases to amaze me how she always knows just what it is that I wanted
to do. I guess that's why I love her so much.

Last year, we tried to spend a week at Disney World. Jayna got an ear
infection the first day and was home and at her specialists by the third
one. It was a very expensive couple of days. No refunds from Disney. I
knew better than to let that happen. I should have had her in the emergency
room when she first mentioned discomfort. We wound up there anyway. Jayna
specializes in severe, fast developing ear infections. Less than 24 hours
after the first signs, her ears are completely swollen shut and require a
wick just to get antibiotics to the infection. It's hard to have fun when
you're in that much pain. You may assume we carry all kinds of medications
when we do dive travel.

This anniversary will be better . . . please.
