It has always been a limitation on the HP3000 that when one places a
'nameserver' entry in the RESLVCNF.NET.SYS file, then the HOSTS.NET.SYS file
is not searched after no-find (if the DNS server replies in any way). On a
HP9000 and unix in general there is a NSSWITCH file that will allow the
HOSTS file to be searched after the RESLVCNF file.
Any new ways around this problem on the 3000?
Thanks - Paul Brooks
