Feeesh was quick at the draw:

[Cayman Aggr]
>>I've been on that one, remember. I haven't done the T&C on a live-aboard,
>which is probably real good. And I'd consider doing that.

>Wow! Zwei? Dos? Deux? By October you'll have reached your
life time Drei/tres/trois? :-) And you had soooooo much experience
at liveaboard that you were ready to take a swing at reality, eh?<

Uhh? Do I detect a problem with reading comprehension here? I said that I
have NOT done the T&C Aggr. But would consider it. And "One Two Three" is a
Billy Wilder movie, not the number of my live-aboard trips. Did more than
that
on the good old Daranee alone.

>Geez, that was my comment to your brash remark that anything one
can do on liveaboards you can do it (presumably better) from land.<

Another misreading. I was asking YOU about the relevant Carib destinations
that NO land operator did.
Never claimed that land based was superior per se. Especially since I've
done a few that cannot reasonably done
from a land base.

>>OK, and the 1st and 2nd rates are ... ?
>Take another few dozens, and you'll begin to catch on. :-) I
passed the 50th liveaboard mark loooooong time ago.<

Poorest response I've ever read from you, yet. Which locations exactly?

Personally, I really *don't* need to do the Caymans another 49 times to
realize that most of my favourite
warm water destinations are in Asia. Just my opinion, of course. And I
greatly enjoyed that CAIV trip.
But mostly because of the company. Which was indeed first class. Same goes
for the Coz trip. But I would
always go back to Coz.

>>Uhh. Wait a second. Are you saying that MY experience is limited?
>You got that one right!

Less limited than your Asia experience, of course. But since you liked
Bali, you will no doubt work on building up some knowledge of the area.

>You compare Shelly to the Caribbean -- I compare Shelly to world class
warm water diving all over the world.<

Shelley IS a superb dive. Compared to any dive anywhere.
And *you* cannot *possibly* compare it to *anything*, since you don't even
know the dive.

>>Viv has told me lots of stories about that area. I don't doubt the
>>stories. The distance is a bit of a bummer.
>Very true. That's why some of us dive more in the Caribbean and
other places you seldom go, whereas you like to place the center of
the universe where it's convenient for YOU to go.<

Shelley is convenient for me to go to? Or Perth? Of course I generally
agree with you on the proximity angle. That's why the Red Sea is a lot
more popular in Europe than in the US. And it is also why I will always
prefer Asian warm water dives over Caribbean ones. Same distance, much
better dives.

>I had conjectured that his disappearing act was forced upon him.
Even his Periodic Posting Guidelines disappeared this month.
Why don't you go there and file us a report? Hehehehe.<

I'm probably still banned there. Don't really care enough to check.

>>Ding-Dong> How'd you get out of my blocked file?

Pretty standard procedure, huh? But I'm not really at liberty to comment,
since I just made a bet with Viv. Don't want to lose that one.
