Hello
Under some circumstances the PIN parameter is not updated when
the CREATE intrinsic fails (and returns CCL). The most popular one
is calling CREATE from a program without PH capability, but there
are some others. (refer to the MPE/iX Intrinsic Reference Manual)
I presume the PIN variable already had a value of -1234 before calling
CREATE.
