Concur. However, 2001 was way-past the time for HP to be INVENTive
regarding the hpe3000. The seeds of decline were sown much
earlier by investment choices (or non-choice) in the product line.

HP claims they were limited by the dollars available given the
sales figures. I'm sure there is some of that, but that is where
the INVENTiveness comes in. But we digress. This doesn't solve
anything and takes away from migration time :-)
