If you happen to have a need to use GhostPCL on an HP 3000
to convert a PCL data stream to PDF or JPEG or other formats,
you can find source code diffs and compiled binaries at...

I have not yet tried to combine it with my FakeLP program to
capture the PCL output stream of a dummy NPCONFIG spooled LP
directly, but in theory it should work ;-)

Kudos to Ray, who made me aware of GhostPCL. Before that,
I only knew about GNU ghostscript (also works on MPE/iX).
