I've never used this function on EMC but have on the HP XP Array 
product. What the Array does is copy the bits from volume to
volume including the directory information so I wouldn't
think it possible to copy your bits into another account structure.

I know its not possible on the XP.

One limitation on the EMC is you cannot use BCV's on the system volume
set
and have to manually update the user volume accounting on the secondary
volumes.

I can, and am doing system volume replication using XP arrays on MPE
systems.
