Hello,

One week from tonight, the UTC Percussion Ensemble, under the
direction of Monte Coulter, will present the annual Spring
Percussion-o-rama on Monday, April 19, at 8 pm in the Hayes Concert
Hall. This year an unusually large and versatile ensemble will
perform some of the very best works from percussion literature of the
past 12 years. Ku Ka Ilimoku by Chris Rouse (A drumming extravaganza
called "A Hawaiian war dance" by the composer), Mark Ford's
"Stubernic", and Gillingham's "Normandy Beach" are among the pieces.
Last, the program will close with a Coulter arrangement of "I Feel
Love", the Donna Summer tune which was covered by the Blue Man
Group, and features UTC's own Maestro of the Electric Bass, Dr. Nick
Honerkamp in a rare concert hall appearance.

Monday, April 19, 8:00 pm in the Hayes-- the perfect way to hype up for finals.

Best,

MC
