If he has a REALLY LARGE (TM) lung maybe. Udderwise there's not enough N2
in just one lung full.

Actually, this is a real problem for whales and seals, etc., who obviously
do repetitive 'freedives'. They use a shunting method which reduces gas
exchange when at depth.

The pressure that they originally breathed the gas on is obviously
irrelevant.

Passed the long flight by reading a couple of books on Singapore and
Singlish to refresh my memory on that wonderful language. "I'll have some
iron rings and a splat" (hehe). Also reminded me what dong-dong meant in
Singlish.
