I would like to add that ISVs who are migrating their customer base
from the HPe3000 need 2 things, both which seem at odds with each other: [...]35_23Mar200416:43:[log in to unmask]

Tom Brandt wrote after quoting Dave Wilde:
"Two things:

1. HP thinks they know their customers needs better than the customers
themselves.

2. HP values their business partners over their customers.

Amazing."
I wholey agree with that interpretation but would add a third "thing" to the
list:
3. HP cannot abide any alternative that does not directly increase the sale
of HP servers.

I don't know if it is amazing but it certainly is frustrating. I think Dave
Wilde is a wonderful guy and a friend of the HP3000 and MPE but Business is
Business. To Quote R Kelley, "Money Makes the World Go 'Round." To quote R.
Newman, "It's Money that Matters." To quote A.E. Newman, "What Me Worry."

Pray for Peace,
Yosef
