I think this statement would resolve a lot of issues with taxes.

We will always have the 'rich' and 'poor' among us.  Both sides of the
equation need to figure out how to solve this issue without bringing
government into the equation.  Government was meant to solve social
issues.  Social issues should be resolved by the "local" community not
by an outsider.
