Darker things are to come I imagine.  

I cooked up the following myself, no dumb link
forwarding on this one!

I wouldn't blame domestic politicians for 
what comes next.

Just do a google search on: 

        steel market prices

And see how often China comes up.

If the price of steel has gone through the roof, one can 
conjecture the cost of U.S. manufactured goods will also
rise and be driven out of the market.  Cars, planes, 
trains, tanks, ships, washing machines, refrigerators, 
theme parks (yes there's a link to that also,) etc, won't 
get built due to steel prices.

Countries used to go to war over cornered markets.
(Remember Japan's behavior when we cut off their oil
and steel some 65-odd years ago?)

I would contend that there is a concerted effort on the 
part of China to collapse the U.S. economy during it's 
current economic boom by cornering steel.  The U.S. may 
be a third world country within 30 years.

Atlas Shrugged anyone?
