Using the latest numbers (2002) from the Tax Foundation,
http://www.taxfoundation.org/sr124.pdf, we can analyze where the difference
lies. Per capita federal spending was $250 more in Bush states. Per capita
federal taxes were $1600 less in Bush states (mainly because the average
income was lower).
