Well... Yosef showed restraint in only quoting a single instance of such a
point, that there are important "issues" on which there are no moderate
positions. The coin has two only sides. And the law and the prophets and the
writings have more instances than just the one Yosef alluded to. So, perhaps
Jesus was being deliberately derivative. Certainly, GWB was being
derivative, although I doubt that I want to get into why and whether was
reasonable in so doing. Rather, I wanted to point out the frequently
overlooked relationship between the words of Jesus, Paul, and others, and
the Scriptures as they had them.
