As a featured event of EAP Month, an EAP seminar is scheduled for Monday,
March 29, 1 - 2 PM, in the University Center, Ocoee Room 307. This general
interest seminar is entitled "Recognizing the Positives-Catching others at
their best!" The stated objectives of the seminar are to improve sense of
well being, help alleviate stress and/or grief, help to feel good in heart
and soul, and strengthen mind and body. Wayne Maddox is the presenter.

During March, the State of Tennessee makes a special effort to remind state
and University employees of the benefits made available to them through our
Employee Assistance Program.
The EAP is a COST FREE, confidential counseling service for state employees
and their eligible dependents. Counseling from local professionals is
available to assist in working through a wide range of issues: emotional,
financial, family-related, legal, stress, elder care, etc. EAP services are
accessible by calling 1-877-237-8574 any time of day, any day of the year.

ALSO …with EAP Month… CONTEST…."Tell Your Story". EAP is asking employees
to write an account of a positive experience as a giver or recipient of a
valuable service at work or in the community. All entries should be typed
written consisting of one page (8-1/2 x 11) single or double spaced. An
awarded will be given to the winning entry. Deadline for entries - March
