Speaker from the Body Farm at UTK on March 17 at 5:30 in Grote 129

The Body Farm, a forensic anthropology facility at UTK, studies the
identification of skeletal, badly decomposed, or otherwise
unidentified human remains is important for both legal and
humanitarian reasons. Dr. Arpad Vass will speak on developing
technology to determine the post-mortem interval, locating
clandestine graves and evaluating chemical markers associated with
human decomposition.  The event is co-sponsored by the
Chemistry Club and SGA.  All UTC students, faculty and staff are
invited to attend.
