Subject: OT: PC question
I am watching a slow leak of network packets from my PC.
I am not sure what is creating the packets, is there anyway to discover
what is
causing it? I have run all the spyware scans to remove everything.
It may be a recently installed piece of software. I would like to
identify it.
Any tips, as I head to google.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've found the best thing to do for slow leaks is get a big bucket and
fill it with water. Put the PC in fully, and look for bubbles rising to
the surface. Mark the area of the leak with a pen and completely dry
off. Rough the area with sandpaper or other abrasive. Put the
appropriate glue or other adhesive over the leak area and put on a good
patch. Don't skimp on quality, use a GOOD patch. Let the glue dry and
reinflate the PC. It should be good as new.
Always willing to help
