hmmm,

        need a library to contain all the intrinsics for linking with.
        need some type of shell or program to view the filesystem as
                MPE would.
        possibly programs to do spooling (both batch input and print output)


Kind of sounds like Mpux from Ordina-Denkart,
or NearTek which, I think Lund has some partnership in,
or (help me out Charles!) another that Charles Finley knows about.

Are there others?
