Hi Tracy
In the context of IPX, SAP stands for Service Advertisement Protocol, I
presume there is some device in your network offering its services to the
rest of the network.

Subject: [HP3000-L] IPX - SAP Traffic
Our network guy is using a sniffer to pick out IPX traffic.
(We don't use IPX, but some hardware is misconfigured or are
old configurations.) All the traffic is marked as "SAP" type.
What is "SAP" traffic? (No manufacturing jokes wanted.)
