As I'm sure a few other notable figures on this list have done, I too have made the choice to "unsub" from the OT: discussions [at least, for *this* work address]  I also suppose, like many "ex"-smokers, I'll be even more cantankerous about OT discussions not marked as such than the regular crowd -- in fact, I'm thinking of making a "rule" for my e-mail client to post an automatic "flame" against transgressors...

p.s.   waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when this thread started, my immediate thought/response was "rules for being a republican, huh?  I'm sure it's a joke, and I"m equally sure that with a little creativity, someone could write a similar 'rules for being a democrat/libertarian/communist/take-your-pick...'"  Too bad noone thought to move the discussion that way :(
