I don't know about most faculty and staff, but some times I get here
between 7:30 and 8:00 AM fto teach a 10:00 AM class, so I can find a place
to park. If I wait until 9:00AM there is almost always no place to park on
lot ten next to Grote Hall (This is where my office is)
On most days I have to lug 6 to 10 dozen lab notebooks up to my office and
it is really nice not to have to lug them all the way from behind the
Engineering Building.
Also something has to be done about students who have yellow parking
permits and park on lot 10 all the time. Apparently just giving them a
ticket has made no impression on some. It would be nice if they could be
booted and have to pay a 150,00 fine. Maybe that would get their attention.
