I have seen a couple of announcements over the last few days about
new businesses opening in Chattanooga.  I'm sure they are wonderful
establishments and I wish them success.  I must remind everyone,
however, that state law does not permit the promotion of commercial
enterprises through our email system.

Recommendations of handy persons, wallpaper hangers, carpenters,
masons, etc. should be sent to the individuals making the requests
and not to the entire list.

Special offers to UTC employees must be issued by the Employee
Relations Committee.
