In reading HP's response I noticed that they have committed to unlocking the "e3000-Unique diagnostics."  Since SYSDIAG was replaced with CSTM, there are very few, if any, diagnostics that are unique to the 3000.  Does that mean they really aren't going to unlock anything?  We certainly need some clarification on that point.  

My second comment about Dave Wilde's letter is that it really doesn't address the main point raised by Ken's letter, namely that by continuing to drag their feet on making decisions about licensing, they are in effect making sure that it won't happen.  It's hard not to conclude that the delays and their side effects are intentional.
