I have been very busy lately, but have been planning to write a quick note
to everyone on the list about my new life. So, since Shep mentioned the
winter weather, ( 6 deg F, and 10'' of snow in northern Ohio - brrrrr... ) I
can't resist telling this story right now.

After a year of strange twists and turns, I have been given a job at Dry
Tortugas National Park. I am scheduled to be there on the 16th of January.
If I don't miss a beat, I will probably make it - if my aching back holds
up. So, to all those wish for warm weather, I am thumbing my nose at you.
:-))) Finally, I have made it to a place that's warm enough for me!!! And
maybe we can have a Nedfest in the Tortugas some day!!! :-))
