How are support contracts written now. Have the agreements been written
different?
What I am looking for is, does HP still do 24*7 4 hr on site or is it
written different
because I was told by a client that HP says that the 4 hr on site is only a
guideline
and not a commitment.

Thanks

is another sermon about the risks of the old old old disc drives
necessary? i figure by now everyone should know the melody to 'that
tune'.....

are these 9gb drives 'jamaicas'? if so, they have a bad reputation for
failing. do you have two fans in your enclosure? it's really
important....and i doubt they're that expensive anymore.

i know it's a pain in the rear, but auditing your support contract is
something that must be done -- particularily to avoid situations just
like this. you might also ask if hp will do the audit (although that
might depend on your level of support....)

drives aren't the same as an enclosure.... - d
