then you should be proud of what Bill did and think/speak better of him.
He was inspired by a conservate Republican.
However he didn't outdo him

Bill was a jerk and had no integrity, even by politician standards.
So he was inspired by a conservative Republican?  Why does that mean
I need to be proud of him?
If by 'outdo' you mean he did not sink to the depth's of depravity
beyond what Strom Thurmond did, then I would have to take exception
to that.  I am sure I can count on you to turn a blind eye to any
sordid thing President Clinton did.
