I would like to thank Ken, not only for his last 2 years work with
OpenMPE trying to secure the future of MPE but also for his integrity in
ignoring the irrelevant NDA imposed by HP that apparently has been used
to hide their prevarication from the MPE Community. Now that the cat is
out of the bag, some definite answers are needed immediately. What is
the future of MPE? Who will have stewardship? When? Also, assuming HP
continues to stall on these and other issues, what other recourse does
the MPE community have to obtain better security for the future?
It appears that HP management have now confirmed the impression that was
gained when the axing of the HP3000 was announced, namely that they are
not to be trusted. Given that, the MPE community needs to create some
concrete plans for the future if this is a real possibility without the
cooperation of HP. If it is not the case, then any further talk is going
to be just so much hot air.

Once again, thank you Ken.

Cheers,

John Dunlop
