 Hello,

I'm familiar with the FOPEN and FCLOSE intrinsics. But if you're writing
a COBOL program, do you have any control over the disposition when the
file is opened or closed?

I think the OPEN must check the temp domain and then the permanent
domain.

What about when you close the file? Does it always try to put it in the
permanent domain?

Thanks.

Peter
