And let's not forget one notch that DSCOPY certainly has over FTP, that
I almost forgot now that our HP3000 "farm" has turned into a "bunk",
that you can have an independent third party in the middle that
initiates a transfer between a remote source and a remote destination.

And for those of you who have always wanted a cross-account :RENAME, if
you have all the NS/3000 service pack, you can do a loopback connection
and :DSCOPY FILE.GROUP.ACCT;FILE.GROUP.ACCT2:dsname;MOVE

We still use that extensively for controlling object code between the
development account and the production account.
