KSAMXL File problem

When one does a LISTF on a KSAMXL file, the number of records shows as 31.  There are 13 LOGICALLY deleted records in this file.  Is there any command, MPEX command, file attribute, etc. that would give us the number of active records in the file (in this case 18) ?  I have been unable to locate any such command or attribute ?
