If I open a SQL 2000 database in my ASPX VB code. Then I do 300 reads
by key(SELECTS). I get really bad performance on a fast server.

We theorize that every "SELECT" is logging on and off the SQL 2000
database.

Is this true? Do I need to use ADO to get around this problem instead
of reading?

Thanks
