I agree that the majority rules. However, it should not be with an iron
fist as suggested by your use of the word "dictates". Even though the
majority rules that does not mean that the minorities have no rights.

P-L-E-A-S-E, come out of the dark ages. This is 2003 not 1503.
One of the purposes of our government is to protect the rights of
minorities. Guess whom they are protecting those rights from.
