Once again I have a hard time understanding why this Alabama Justice is
trying to use this Biblical passage as a tool to divide the people he is
supposed to serve. (As a proud graduate of the Birmingham and Selma jails I
never thought I would use the words Justice and Alabama in the same sentence
but there you are.) His right to believe is not in question, he has the
right to believe. His right to coerce others to believe or pay lip service
to his beliefs is also not in question, he has no right.

-----------------------

The Justice is not trying to coerce others, merely to DISPLAY the 10
commandments. He didn't say you had to believe in it to get access
to justice. He might be the type that thinks that, but that does not
have anything to do with displaying the 10 commandments.
