Since when has it been possible to mirror the system volume set?
And even if possible, I would still much prefer hardware mirroring.

I believe hardware mirroring is safer AND cheaper AND better performing.
It's win, win, win for hardware over software - even if you can mirror the
system volume set, which I don't believe is possible anyway.

Not I, but should be straightforward - at worst a reload if you can't
simply insert same discs in appropriate slots.

You CAN use a 2nd FWSCSI card with the mod20.
