[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 26 Nov 2003 16:32:57 -0500207_- There has been many discussions about the 'left wing' and the 'right
wing' in this thread.

I would like to close it by saying you can keep the right-wing and
left-wing; I'll take the breast!!!38_26Nov200316:32:[log in to unmask]

A mimimum wage job is acceptable for kids living at home with their parents,
but it is definitely NOT ok for a grown individual in their 40's and 50's (and
beyond) to be earning that miserable amount of money in this day and age. It
is completely unacceptable.

The propaganda on the news about the "booming" economy and how unemployment
has gone down and job "opportunities" have increased and so on is just that --
propaganda.

I have worked in the IS industry for over 20 years now. I lost my job 6
months ago thru no fault of my own.

I refuse to give an employer 40+ hours a week of my time who is only going to
pay me $300 (or less) a week. My unemployment check gives me more than that.

Brian Donaldson.
