Tony, Craig and Jeff give some other good advice, to which I would add the
obligatory make sure all the cables are seated tightly. In fact, not knowing
any more details, I would probably try all their suggestions first before
power-cycling the terminal since they deal with more common causes. However,
if all else fails, I have seen two instances where terminals operating as
consoles would just randomly hang and nothing short of a power cycle would
un-hang them.
