Samba was turned on without me knowing it. That is the issue. Thanks

Hi John.
I believe nmbp and smbp are required for Samba. Are you running Samba? If
so, then I would guess that your Samba server crashed. If you are not
running Samba, comment these out of SERVICES.NET and INETDCNF.NET. I hope
this helps.
