See, I was right.  I had heard of another one.  I have never seen it.  I
am not sure you will be able to get source code from Orbit, however.

Thanks Denys, exactly what I wanted to know.

Still weighing the effort/benefit of it all. I don't have a C/iX
compiler. But then what about GNU?

I wonder if anyone has a small snippet of code (any language) that has
all the "SCSI changer commands and status inquiries" in it?
I don't want to develop a marketable product, just want to make
something that will work for the School District.

ORBiT just released a product called OLM - ORBiT Library Manager
that provides the above functionality. OLM is integrated within the
BACKUP+ product, but there is a standalone interface that might do
what you want. In standalone mode, it should work just fine with
TurboSTORE. I'm not entirely sure how the package is being marketed
(I'm in R&D, not sales :-), but someone from Danville should contact
you during the week.
