In theory yes. Watch your disk space. And since the 957 is way slower than
most 9x9s, do not expect good response times. For a complete performance
matrix of all 3000s, check http://www.openmpe.org

openmpe.org has a few matrices about the 3000 range. You may find additional
information at http://jazz.external.hp.com. To cut a long story short :
9x7s support all versions from 3.1 (B.31.00) to 6.5 exp 2 (C.65.02)
9x8s support all versions from 4.0 PP8 (B.40.08) to 7.5 exp 1(C.75.01)
9x9s support all versions from 5.0 push (C.50.00) to 7.5 exp 1 (C.75.01)
7.0 and 7.5 are supported till 12/21/2006.
6.5 is supported till 10/31/2004.
Support for previous releases has already ceased.
