BTDT....

If you get a table of HP Arabic chars, and the Windows table, you will find
that somewhere around half to two-thirds are the same bit patterns IIRC, -
its been 8 or 9 years since I did this over there. Its a relatively small
amount of code to translate the different chars in each direction . Do it on
whichever system is easiest to use for you. I think I used C on the 3000 to
do a CTRANSLATE, with two different tables depending on whether  the data
was going to or coming from Windows.....
