Dr. Tatiana Allen, UC Foundation Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Geology, and Astronomy, has recently co-authored an article entitled “Optical Properties of Hydrogenated Amorphous Carbon Films Deposited from Glow Discharge Plasma” published in the November 10, 2003 issue of Technical Physics Letters.

Researchers from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the University of Toronto contributed to the article. The publication presents the findings from nondestructive tests on diamond-like carbon to evaluate the practical applications of diamond-like carbon materials in other fields.

Congratulations to Dr. Allen! By collaborating with fellow researchers around the world and publishing your results in international journals, you enhance UTC’s reputation as a competitive research institution.
